Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by our professional guide who will brief you about the trip before embarking on a scenic drive to Kibale National Park. This is the highlight of your trip! After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before venturing into the dense forests of Bwindi in search of the majestic mountain gorillas. Trekking can take between 2 to 6 hours depending on the movement of the gorilla family assigned to you. Once you locate them, you will have an unforgettable hour observing them up close as they play, feed, and interact in their natural environment. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, if energy allows, take part in an optional cultural tour to interact with the Batwa pygmies, an indigenous group that once lived in Bwindi Forest. After breakfast, depart Bwindi and embark on a full-day drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most iconic national park. The journey will take approximately 8-9 hours, passing through beautiful landscapes and rural villages. Wake up early for a thrilling game drive in the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park. The cruise takes you to the bottom of the thunderous Murchison Falls, offering incredible views and a chance to spot hippos, crocodiles, and diverse bird species such as the rare shoebill stork. Disembark near the falls and take an optional short hike to the top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile is squeezed through a narrow 7-meter gorge, creating a powerful waterfall. Start your final day with another early morning game drive to catch any wildlife you might have missed the previous day.
