Your adventure begins early in the morning, typically around 4:30 AM, with a pick-up from your hotel or Kigali International Airport. The journey to Volcanoes National Park, located in the Musanze district, takes approximately 2-3 hours, offering stunning views of Rwanda’s rolling hills, misty valleys, and picturesque countryside along the way. Your driver-guide will provide insights into Rwanda’s history, culture, and conservation efforts during the drive. Upon arrival at the park headquarters in Kinigi, you will check-in and receive a briefing from the park authorities. In the afternoon, you will embark on your journey back to Kigali, with an estimated arrival time of 5:00-7:00 PM, depending on the day’s activities.
