After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive towards Queen Elizabeth National Park, located approximately 6-7 hours away. A stopover will be made at the Equator for a photo opportunity and a brief geographical experiment to witness the water-flow demonstration. The morning hours provide the best opportunities for animal sightings as wildlife is most active during this time. After an exhilarating game drive, return to the lodge for a late breakfast and some relaxation before heading out for an afternoon boat cruise. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. The channel is home to one of the largest populations of hippos in Africa, as well as crocodiles, waterbirds, and elephants that come to drink along the shores. The two-hour cruise offers a fantastic opportunity for wildlife photography and birdwatching. After the boat cruise, return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.
