After an early breakfast, head to the Kibale National Park headquarters for a briefing on chimpanzee tracking rules and guidelines. You will then venture into the dense forest in search of chimpanzees. As you trek, keep an eye out for other primates such as red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and L’Hoest’s monkeys. Once you find the chimpanzees, spend an hour observing them as they play, feed, and swing from tree to tree.
After the tracking experience, enjoy lunch and then proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a 3-hour drive through the scenic countryside. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy a relaxing evening.
