Begin the day with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, a prime spot for viewing lions, Uganda kobs, elephants, and buffaloes. With a bit of luck, you may spot leopards and hyenas as well.
In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, one of the best wildlife-viewing experiences in the park. The channel is home to large herds of hippos, Nile crocodiles, and an array of bird species. The boat ride offers fantastic photography opportunities with animals congregating along the shores.
After breakfast, head to the Ishasha sector, renowned for its population of tree-climbing lions. These lions are often seen lounging in fig trees during the heat of the day. The sector also hosts elephants, topis, and various bird species.
In the afternoon, visit a local community for a cultural experience, where you will learn about traditional practices, music, and dance.
