Rise early for an exciting morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, one of the best areas for wildlife spotting. With the guidance of an experienced ranger, you will explore the savannah in search of lions, elephants, buffalos, warthogs, Uganda kobs, and even elusive leopards. The morning hours provide the best opportunities for animal sightings as wildlife is most active during this time.
After an exhilarating game drive, return to the lodge for a late breakfast and some relaxation before heading out for an afternoon boat cruise.
In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. The channel is home to one of the largest populations of hippos in Africa, as well as crocodiles, waterbirds, and elephants that come to drink along the shores. The two-hour cruise offers a fantastic opportunity for wildlife photography and birdwatching.
After the boat cruise, return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.

After breakfast, set out for the Ishasha sector in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This area is famous for its rare tree-climbing lions, which are often seen resting on the branches of fig trees. Unlike regular lions, these unique big cats have developed a habit of climbing trees, offering a spectacular and rare sight for visitors.
While on this game drive, you may also encounter large herds of buffalos, antelopes, elephants, and various bird species. The Ishasha sector provides a different and less crowded safari experience compared to the northern region of the park.
After the game drive, enjoy a packed picnic lunch in the wild or return to the lodge for a meal before an optional cultural visit to a nearby community. Engage with the locals, learn about their way of life, and enjoy traditional performances.
