The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours, passing through rural landscapes and small towns. Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge overlooking the Nile River and enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by nature.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Safari in Murchison Falls National Park

Start the day with an early morning game drive across the savannah plains of Murchison Falls National Park. This park is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, and numerous antelope species. The game drive offers excellent opportunities for wildlife sightings and photography.

In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari on the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls. Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Swamp Walk

Today, set off into Kibale Forest for an exhilarating chimpanzee tracking experience. Guided by experienced rangers, trek through the forest in search of these habituated primates. Kibale Forest is also home to other primates such as red colobus monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, and grey-cheeked mangabeys, offering a rich biodiversity experience.

In the afternoon, take a guided walk through Bigodi Swamp, a haven for birdwatchers with over 200 bird species recorded. The swamp walk also provides opportunities to spot other wildlife such as butterflies, frogs, and various reptiles. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Kampala and Departure

After breakfast, depart Kibale Forest National Park and begin your journey back to Kampala, Uganda’s vibrant capital city. The drive takes approximately 4-5 hours, with a stopover at the Equator for a brief photo opportunity and souvenir shopping. Upon arrival in Kampala, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your memorable Uganda safari.
