Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Start the day with an early morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park. This park boasts an impressive variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, leopards, and numerous antelope species. The game drive offers excellent opportunities for wildlife sightings and photography amidst the backdrop of the Rwenzori Mountains and Lake George.

In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Arrive at your lodge near the park and settle in for the night, anticipating the gorilla trekking adventure the following day.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Departure

Today is the highlight of your safari as you embark on a gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) guides. You will be assigned to a gorilla family group and begin your trek into the forest, accompanied by guides and trackers who are experts at locating the gorillas.

The trek duration varies depending on the location of the gorilla family, but encountering these gentle giants in their natural habitat is an unforgettable experience. Spend an hour observing and photographing the gorillas before trekking back to the park headquarters. After the trek, bid farewell to Bwindi and transfer to either Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your memorable Uganda safari.
